Loose Hose.... Where does it go?

Noticed a loose hose under the car today that I've never seen before. Traced it up under the battery pan where it stops and it's loose on both ends. Is there something under the battery pan that is supposed to be connected to a hose?

It can't be draining anything right now because it's not connected to anything on either end. What is it supposed to be connected to? Is it something under the battery pan? I didn't see anything obvious when I was looking.

Holy crap dude... It's a drain... Does the top of your shower drain connect to something? is it always draining something, even when you aren't taking a shower?

Thanks. I connected to the battery pan as the diagram showed.

One other question. I never really paid attention to the voltage meter in the car except when it was running. I notice that it still shows close to a full charge on the battery even when the car is off. I don't know how I could have possibly screwed anything up by disconnecting the battery, but is that normal for these cars?

I was able to find a couple of posts on the web about the voltage meter. Seems like this is normal. Thanks

Drain is in case battery acid spills into the tray it will run out of the tray into the tube and onto the ground missing your metal body.

Volt meter doesn't draw any currrent so it should always show the battery voltage. I tweek mine to make sure they read properly....
