Fuel Filter?
Fuel Pressure Regulator?
Fuel Pump?
Purge line clogged?

Those are the basics...

air flow meter? causes big headaches on n/a's, and I am sure also on turbos
fuel pump relay?
what about your distributor? How old is it?

That's really all I can think of right now. Hopefully more people will help you out more.

found it !!!!
I went threw from the injectors back .. spent 2 days wondering WTF is going on ... then the next day i checked the pump that was already out of the car and it worked??? what the hell it works????
SO I took the battery charger and went to the pump under the car.. had buddy start cranking on the engine and YAHOO first kick it was started!!!!

NO Power to the pump... now I feal like a dumb *** I should have checked it to begin with.. I guess age is creeping up LOL

NOW I have to trace it back to under the dash something is not hooked up..fuse blowen...computer switch...something little and it runs!!!!..
if all else failes run a wire to the pump and it can be a kill switch..

thanks all for the help... and I know this wont be the last of the Qs

If you run a wire just make sure you run a fuse inline.

I think the 82 and 83 have a two speed fuel pump controller that sits in a cavity behind the ecu.
