ignitors replacement

ignitors replacement

hello, people my ignitor went out last nite while i was going to houston ,texas had to pull the damn car back to the fair city of Alice ,Texas . I priced the part today it is 145.00 is there a diffrent ignitor I can use ( ford ,chev etc...)
its for a 1983 280 zx turbo.

How many other parts will swap from an American car to Japanese?

You could get one from a junk yard 280zxt...

i just replaced mine, after tax it was 122 dollars with lifetime warrenty.

hurray for autozone!!!! and the ignitor is riveted to teh coil bracket, you cant really just pop it off and put a new one on.
