got a MBC and a fresh tune up and dialed in some xtra boost(6 to 10psi).

what should my next move be?
intercooler or downpipe/exhaust

Intercooler with custom made piping. 2 1/4" diameter Don't go over 10psi untill you have that done.

thanks for the reply bleach!

why is staying under 10psi so important? is it my understanding that because the 93 octane fuel can't take more boost(say 12psi)

what about high octane fuel(100, 108 or even 112) with higher than 10psi

i lost to a ford explorer 4X4 with a 100 shot.

need help

Because the air temp will be too high and cause pre-detonation. The higher octaine will help, but you need to put money into something that helps keep detonation down.

Also upgrade your fuel injectors, the fuel curve starts to lean out a lot when pushed above 10psi. 370cc injectors are the usual upgrades since you can still run the stock afm with them.
