Fuel Injector Question

Alright, I took off the fuel rail to clean it all up. This is what I have left

And my fuel rail looks like this

Now I'm pretty sure the injectors are either bad or clogged, but my question is this

Are the injectors being clogged or bad going to create all the crap on the intake? Is there something else I should be looking for? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I would bet it is small amounts of oil from the valve cover gasket that makes that mess, not fuel leaks.

Clogged injectors won't leak. Bad injectors can leak though.
Clean it up, put new injector o-rings on, and a new valve cover gasket.
With the fuel rail already off, you can ask at a fuel injection shop or possibly some other shop what it costs to inspect your injectors. They can either clean them with their special equipment or rebuild them. At one time I heard they could be rebuilt for as little as $15 each.
