Under WOT, you want to be around 11-11.8 for ideal AFRs. It depends on the gasoline in your area, but out here in Cali, most tuners shoot for 11.5. Any leaner, and detonation becomes a problem. You'll want to upgrade the pump as a minimum if you want to start pushing 12-13 psi. Do you have an intercooler too? From what I recall, the stock T3 is out of it's efficiency at 14 psi and anything past that is just hot air with no power gains.

I have an intercooler, I just haven't put it in yet. I need to get me some piping. I've been trying to figure out how to pipe it. I see like what has been done. Just put a cone filter on the inlet of my MAF. Route the piping through the one upper hole where the old airbox piping came from, but how did you guys route the lower piping? I haven't really looked enough, but were you able to do it without cutting?

Anyway I installed my MAP sensor I got with my Zeitronix and was watching that. I set the peak feature and I saw that my peak boost was hitting 10.6 and I assume it has to do with the fact that I'm using a manual boost controller, but it would bleed off to about 8.8-9 psi of boost. I also noticed that the map seems to read slightly different from my autometer gauge. According to the Zeitronix site it's much more accurate than your standard gauge.

I had to cut some of the radiator support to get my pipes to fit. I am running 2.5" pipes, but I've heard that 2" piping will fit through the hole easily. I got lucky on ebay where sellers used to sell 304 stainless pipes before switching to aluminum. My air filter is relocated behind my headlight.

I would believe your map sensor being more accurate. If it's only a half a psi or so, I wouldn't lose sleep over it though. Anything more than 1, and I'd look for another gauge.

My boost/vac gauge seems to be off on the vacuum side, but fairly accurate on the boost side. I think it's due to the LED bulb. The regular bulb was a bit crappy as I could barely see anything, so I switched to the LED and I remember it having problems with clearance over the metal ring or something in the back of the gauge and hitting it and seeing the needle move around on it's own.

Gotcha, yeah I had an Autogage (crappier version of an Autometer), and had the same issue. I tried using a brighter bulb, but it rubbed the ring, and the gauge never read quite right after that.

Anyway, I think I might be able to dyno my Z this weekend. I saw a post on Craigslist advertising a dyno day with 2 pulls, so I might check it out and see if my Z can finally dyno down more than 200whp. The last dyno day was an embarrassing fiasco of lots of noise and no power haha.

Dude, if I can make it to the dyno day, I will definitely take a vid. The last dyno vid is pretty embarrassing. Ear plugs will also be a must as I think I nearly went deaf in the dyno room last time. External wastegate + enclosed warehouse = ringing ears.
