Crankcase oil in Intake?

Crankcase oil in Intake?
I have crankcase oil in my intake. I've read that this means my "oil rings" are bad... Think a noob like me can climb into my engine block and replace those rings?
Also, I'd like to get that crap OUT of my intake. can I vacuum it out somehow? Can I unplug the PCV on the bottom and let it drain out?
I've already put in a crankcase breather filter on, so hopefully no more oil in the intake. If I get more in there after draining though, can I assume it's from the intake ports, and that I have a more serious problem?
Thanks.

okay. will do, NP.
I'm not having any performance issues with my engine, but I've got oil in my intake and smoke coming out of my oil breather and cap (more when car is running and less when it is not)
How do I know I don't just have too much oil in there? (don't tell me about the dipstick... It's fine.)
