will a n/a afm work with a turbo motor?

That's going backwards... the n/a AFM is smaller than the turbo AFM & is calibrated for less air flow.

Short answer = NO.

thanx for the info but I found that out earlier today when I went to the junk yard. But does not matter sold the car today cause I was tired of trying to figure out what was wrong with it. traded it straight up for a 92 240sx dual cam five speed w/ ac. Paint is in great condition along with the interior.No lo0nger a Z owner, I missed it already!!!! But now I have a running car.
