Nice car (sounds like the exact same thing I have). On any car as old as ours, you should first do some general maintenance before starting to mod your car. This regain some of the power that has been lost over the years through wear and tear, and it will also better prepare your car to handle the additional power that you will get from modding it. Start with changing the spark plugs, check the wires, change all of your fluids and take carry of any weird noises that your engine makes.

After taking care of that stuff, a mandrel bent exhaust, intake, wider tires (these cars deserve better than 195's) would probably be a good place to start.

he's right start with bringing the scheduled maintenance up to date. then start small, cat back and cold air intake. then possibly larger throttle body, fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, etc, etc. just about any thing you can think of for other cars you can do to the l28 its a very versitile and reliable engine the sky is the limit
