280zx ignition

I have a 1983 280ZX with headers and a Holley 4bbl. THE COMPUTER HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS CAR. The problem I am having is that it blows ignition modules. I have replaced the alternator including condensor, coil, pick up coil, coil condensor, plugs, and plug wires. I can slap a good module on it and it will idle and run great. After driving for about 20 or 30 minutes, I can stop for a little while and restart the engine and it won't idle. After I get past about 3000rpm's it will rock n roll like nothing is wrong. If anyone has, or can direct me to an electrical schematic of this Hitachi module, you have my undying thanks. Also, if anyone has an idea why this is happening, please respond.
