Ok, we are talking 280ZX here by the way. The 280ZX has quite a bit larger fender wells than the 280Z.

My measurements will not be the same for that S30 car.

Also, are those 16" Simmons wheels? They look smaller for some reason.

So Skullly, what would you estimate the time to mill out a wheel then? I'm not a millionare just yet but if I ever find that damn briefcase on the side of the highway I'm down for having a set of one off wheels custom milled. Just the center and have it welded to a hoop.

oh so you would want just the spokes machined...?

if that...then about, for everything...If you CAD it yourself youwill save some pointless spent time by the machine shop...CAD is easy to do so save yourself a few hours...
I would estimate for setting up a jig, mills, drills, and program.. (if they have mastercam subtract about 1 hour off). It should take no longer then 2 hours to set up program, tooling and jigs......runtime you are looking at maybe 4 hours with a good setup to do both sides.. ...thats just for milling spokes...and thats if you want a flat spoke...if you want it curve..its gotta go on a lathe

15" x 7". To put some perspective on 16 x 10" under a 280ZX see the pic EDIT on my previous post showing 15" x 8" under a S30. The ZX should look fearsome

I have attached some phots of my '81 280ZX and have some specs. for you. The car has been lowered using Tokico springs and Tokico HP struts at all four corners. The wheel and tire package is as follows:

Front: P225/50/ZR16 Birdgestone Potenzas mounted on Epsilon three piece mesh wheels measuring 16x7 with zero offset and zero backspace.

Rear: P245/45/ZR16 Bridgestone Potenzas mounted on Epsilon three piece mesh wheels measuring 16x8 with zero offset and zero backspace.

Very nice, thanks for the info. Your car is beautiful. I have pics of it in your driveway but these are even better.

Looks like everything fits with room to spare.
