Ok maybe this needs to be in the "general" forum, but I'll start here.

I was just looking for tires on the internet today, I really don't need any, I was shopping around should the moment arise. Do you know how difficult it is to find a decent set of 14" rubber? The best tire that I could find was the BF Goodrich radial T/A. Now, that's not a bad set of rubber, but I was thinking something along the lines of Michelin Pilots. The smallest they come in is 215 65 R/15.

Now, I know, just get new rims, right? Well, we all know what kind of a pain that can be, and I don't want new rims---just yet. I want a set of decent rubber!

Anyone know where I can find some good 14" tires?

I'll look around at some of the Japanese tire makers, they make 14" performance tires due to the popularity of the old school "stretch tire" look back in Japan.

I don't want the tires to stick out from the fenders...ugh. I just would like some 225/65/R14's in a Toyo, Michelin, Falken, Pirelli, or somethng like that which isn't a "passenger car" tire.

Oh, so the tires aren't the really wide ones? Umm, I think Falken makes their Azenis series in the 14" size. They're decent tires and lots of autocrossers use them. Maybe Kumho too, but I'll have to check around.

I prefer Kumho. They should stick real well for the size you want. I have a set(not sure of the model, car is in the tranny shop). When i go to the track I just spin to clean of the dirt and they stick pretty good, and they are stock speck tires. I am looking to go a little wider, but these are pretty new, so that will be later. Theres my input. Hope it helps.
