Quick question re brake lines

Hey guys. I'm putting in a proportioning valve and want to confirm that the OD of the hard brake lines is 3/8". Is that correct? How about the threads that go into the MC and calipers? Anybody know the spec's on these off-hand? Thanks in advance.

I'm realizing as I think about this more that there's no way the OD of the brake lines is 3/8". Anybody know what it is? Don't get me wrong, I'd just measure it myself but the car is stored about 20 miles away. Thanks in advance.

I think that is the size of the nut not the tubing diameter.

Yes the nut is 10mm, the soft line is roughly 3/8" and the hard line is about 3/16".

hard brake lines are pretty standard so you should be good to go. the biggest thing is getting the right nut on before you flare.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I have confirmed that the brake fittings are 1/8-27 NPT. Any chance somebody has an accurate digital caliper that they could measure the OD of the hard rear brake lines for me? Would be very appreciative!!!
