Lowering Springs And Performance Shocks For Turbo 2+2?

Anyone know where to get lowering springs and performance shocks for a turbo 2+2? Everything out there seems to be for coupes only. Thanks!

The coupe springs fit fine in a 2+2, but the manufactures haven't done their official testing on a 2+2 body so they don't guarantee anything. If you buy the springs and they ask, just say it is a 2-seater.

Yeah I had Tokico lowering springs and shocks on my 2+2 and they were fine even though they were made for the 2-seater.

Also, I highly doubt the extra, what, 150 pounds in your 2+2 is enough to faze that suspension. Shouldn't even squat.

I used Mercedes 300D springs for my rear springs, for a while (I've posted this elsewhere too). They were wicked stiff & completely got rid of the squat.... just a super stiff & bouncy ride, so I got Eibachs & am quite happy w/ them.

Wicked stiff eh? I'll have to see about that.
Dang, still haven't installed my wicked stiff Mercedes springs yet.

Nismo,

From watching your videos it looks like your car has a lot of body roll. I know it has more than my 2+2 had with the Tokicos in it. How is the ride and handling on your car?

which vid are you watching? There's some vids before & after the turbo / suspension swap. The donut in my sig pic... there's almost no body roll (not like you can really tell from that pic)...

I was reffering to the one where you do doughnuts and then the C4 Vette does doughnuts.

But yeah, after looking at the vid in your sig, I stand corrected.

yeah... the parking lot vid w/ the black C4 was before the L28ET, suspension, & LSD. That vid was actually just before I did the motor swap. I trashed that engine... no air filter, revving to 7k rpm, dumping way too much fuel in.... ah the joys of auto abuse!

^ I've done that with countless Hondas and Pontiacs.

Fun ****.

We blew up my sister's old Mazda 626 doing that haha. Man I hated that car. We took it off-road and jumped dirt mounds and did some other crazy stuff. My bro put it in D1 and floored it while doing doughnuts in a field. After about 10 minutes of bouncing off the rev-limiter it finally gave in and threw a rod haha. Oh the memories...
