Unhappy Bleeding the Brakes

Bleeding the Brakes should be easy as hell if you don't have hidden problems. Ok guys and gals, I need some help. I bled my brakes as per the instructions in the FSM and there really is no change to speak of. Also, my left rear caliper is loose, I tried to tighten the two bolts on the backside but they are tight...I also have a whole lot of pad on all 4 corners. What happens is when the car is not running the pedal is stiff, once I turn the car on the pedal drops. I have to pump the pedal 3 times and it gets real stiff and the pedal will sit high. As soon as I let off the pedal and go to stop again it has to be pumped again. Also when I bled the master cylinder nothing came out of the back bleeder...I thought this was strange. The reservoir is full as the instructions said to make sure it stays full. My brake light stays lit all the time also.

Well what do you all think...time for a new master cylinder.....vacuum leak....I don't have a clue at this point, all I do know is that it will hold the pedal pressure once it is pumped so what is going to let the pressure leave the booster once the pedal is released?

That may be the prob... it could be clogged. Also did you have someone pumping the pedal while you opened the master cylinder bleeder?

Check the brake sensor.

I was pumping the brakes when I was bleeding the master Cyl, it's not a far stretch, just don't sit in the car and try it ...also I have looked at the sensor on the master cyl and it "looks" fine.

you cant bleed stuff by your self unless you have a bleeder system like gravity bleeder mechanical etc. youll just suck air back into the lines yah tool. lol im currently bleeding my brakes and tehy suck. SOOOO Much air in the lines, the first like 3 bleeds on each side it sprays fluid so its like a shower, aka lots of air, then its straight fluid, bu it took so long that the master went empty and now there is probably air back in the lines, but i am gonna go get more fluid today and get back at it.

Actually I got it off Ebay...some guy that is selling vinyl decals and what not....this is supposed to be a representative picture of that vinyl and I cropped it to be square then resized it to fit on this site
