Question Aftermarket rims!

I have a 1980 280ZX that is stock. I have been looking for aftermarket rims that fit my car but no luck so far. I am pretty sure that I need an adaptor but I am just wondering if those adaptors will hinder the performance or mess up the suspension at all. If any one has any comments on how they do on the car or if there are any rims that I can purchase that don't need an adaptor. Also, do you know where to get nice looking rims for my Z. Thanks.

There are aftermarket rims that will fit the car, you dont need an adapter. Have you checked www.zcarparts.com ?

Some of those wheels that MSA sells say, "comes with all nessisary mounting hardware" Meaning, you're paying top dollar for the wheels and for the adaptors with all lug nuts.
