79 s130 wheels?

ok so question, trying to do potenza RE-11s on my car also trying to stay within a half inch of the 70series+14in total diameter of 19.3" (my car is lowered-can give ride height from the top of the fenderwell), trying to do xxr 501s in black at 15x8 with +15 offset, Iwas gonna do 205/50-15. What series tires should I go with to keep the 19.3" total diameter? (can be within .5 inches as I said before). Must be (extreme performance summer) sports tires preferably the RE-11s but I am willing to change if it means a better fit.
thanx

Well for starters the stock tire is 24.7ish. The closest to stock you'll get with RE-11s is 245/40/17 which would fit nicely on a set of RB-R 17x9 -13mm wheels....

225/50/16 are off by just under 1% so you would be fine with those as well

If you have chosen the size of 15x8 then 205/60-15 is stock size
205/55-16 is a bit under and 205/50-15 is way too small.

Tire Size Calculator

No need for +15 if there is an option. even with +0 you will have room in front and room to spare in the back.

Yup and for RE-11 the closest they make them in are listed above....

You'd have to go to a slick or street legal slick to beat the RE-11s for performance....

ok thanks guys, my calculations are off, been awhile since Ive taken a math class

ok update: everything i research says a different thing, why did they make the series a percentage of section width??!!!! why not just measure it directly
when I run the numbers in the calculator I get something different from stock to aftermarket
and if I do the calculation myself I get something different again
confused and frustrated now

RE-11s come in these sizes
195/50R15
205/50R15
205/45R16
205/55R16
225/50R16
205/45R17
205/50R17
215/45R17
225/45R17
235/40R17
235/45R17
245/40R17
245/45R17
255/40R17

willing to run 16 or 17
however as I said I keep getting different comparable sizes for each source
gah

reupdate:
Im looking at the wrong diameter (dammit) sorry for the mess.

lol I forgot to add the other side of the tire sidewall

decided to go 205/55-16 on xxr 501 8" +0 offset rear and +15 front
or RB/RBR 215/45-17 9" 0 offset both possibly
anyway thanks again guys

You're asking a lot!

Are you talking about hanging your rimz out and stretching tires, hellfa flush, or tucking tires in the fender with or without rolling the inner fender?

You can fit 17x10 +0 with no mods to the car and it'll be pretty close. Unless someone has very specific inner fender specs, your question can not be answered accurately. Instead maybe you can find examples of large wheel and tire setups installed on the 280ZX with pictures of the clearance.

well that does answer my question, and I was only wondering because I heard that the s130 won't take much offset and width without needing to be rolled.
also its a concern of mine since I'll be running some solo 2 events next season and I don't want to be rubbing at all, but I'm in the clear.
I'd prefer not to roll the fender-shoestring budget (and saving for paint)
I'll be stretching only slightly with the setup I have picked out, want it to be practical for bending them curves---
xxr501 16x8 205/55 +15 offset in front and 0 offset in rear
thanks bleach

im going with diamond racing 15x10 w/4" backspace (rear) and 15x9 w/4" backspace (front), with my car sitting on its nuts... well i just like crazy set ups like that lol tires will be 205/50-15 rear and 195/45-15 front, my fenders are rolled already so im not too worried about that, and if all else fails ill cut the over fenders off and bolt on some zg flares

I'm running Yokohama S-Drive 235/45/17 and 255/40/17 with rolled fenders - Yasin is running 255 front and 275 rears... we're both running Rota RB-R 17x9.5 with -19mm offset

Rolling the fenders just takes time - not sure what it has to do with budget unless you can't rent a proper fender roller and need to shell out for one.
