S30 Dash

Does anyone know if a S30 dash swap into a S130 has been sucseful?

I haven't heard of such a thing. For some reason I thought there was a topic like this made a while back. I think the S30 dash is too short in length/width and it'd prolly require some serious fab work to fit it? There was that one guy who basically put the whole 350Z interior into a 240Z so I'd say it could be done.

it is 1 inch shorter. split the diff and it would not be to bad of a gap to fill. also most of the mounts are real close if not exact to the S130.

So... you've answered your own question... Anything can be done with the right time, money and knowledge.

The biggest problem is going to be the wiring harness. You'll have to figure out which wires from the S130 chassis harness go to which wire on the S30 dash harness. You'll probably be better off completely replacing the S30 gauges and sensors with modern ones so you don't have to fight the resistance differences between the S130/S30 sensors and gauges.
