do it like the bob sharp cars, they actually look good and function well. when you do a flare, do you have to modify the inner fenderwell to? our cars always rust and need rebuilding so then would be the time.

I personally still don't even think the 240ZG flares look good on the 240Z. Some of those examples of the 280ZXs that ice showed don't look too bad. The back is a little too much. I'd say a little less flare in the back would look good. I personally don't understand why everyone likes the 240ZG it just looks worse overall and kinda ruins the look. To me I picture it as somewhere in between the 280ZX and the 240Z. It just can't make up its mind, but that's my opinion. I'd say if you have the skill do what that one person did and just extend the fenders and then just fill in the gap.

I prefer the ZG front end (nose area) with light covers over the more common S30 nose. But the flares don't really do it for me.

Can anyone guess what size wheels and tire size are on those ugly Japanese Zs? PLEASE?!?! Because I just got a set of 15" wheels and I need to buy tires for them but Im not sure what size to get since Im not sure how aspect ratio really works. I want to stretch 205s on all 4 corners though since any thicker and I wont be able to drift anymore, since im underpowered! Please can some one help a poor little kid! Im begging you my Z masters! What aspect ratio should I get for the 205s that wont make them as thin as those whack Zs up there? Need...tires...soon....oh the wheels are 15x8!

Hey try the 215/60/15 if you are using the 8 inch wide rim, it would really suck if you're drifting and your streched 205's pop off the bead. You should not have a problem sliding on 215's, what's an extra 10mm right....well it might be safer. I am running a low pro 205/50/15 right now and it sucks! But if you must use 205's try a 60 or 65 sidewall.

Thanks a bunch bro! Im looking into BF G-Force Sports up front, and with the 60 or 65 sidewall my wheels wont look tiny like those Zs right? But will I have as much rubber as the stock 205/70R14s? Do you think you can maybe photoshop how 205/60R15 would look? Please. Cause I also want to eliminate wheel well (Tokicos 1inch drop only do so much!) No problem if u cant im asking for too much anyway! also I was wondering if stretching the tire on a wide rim would make the tire height shorter right? Thanks again!

If you run a 205/60/15 then you will have the exact same overall wheel/tire height as the stock wheel/tire combo. a 65 series sidewall will put you a little taller.

Ok well I went ahead and made a sort of side by side thing here but you get the idea. My size is in the middle, very low side-wall and large fender gap. The left is the factory 205/70/14 and the right is the size I suggested...if you notice the 15 inch 215 is near identical to the factory outside diameter and the width is only slightly wider...like I said 10mm. The side wall will be shorter and should be stiffer, in my oppinion it should break traction easier then the taller wall as it should not flex as much when sliding. Again just my oppinion and it makes sense to me... it is the size I will be going with but not for the drifting reason, I just want my spedo to be correct with my 15" rims. Hey I could be wrong and they may grip more because of a larger contact patch on the road either way you may want to use spare, bald or old tires for drifting so your new tires will last.

Man I wish I could afford new tires cause you could have mine for the price of shipping...205/50/15 on a 7 inch wide rim...you can see my gap with stock suspension. They have 85%+ tread on them or more.
