Fender flares
Fender flares
Where can i get some nice fender flares for a DECENT price? I started to work on my 280zx again and i want to do all the bodywork at one time. Any help would be great
www.jimcookracing.com they made some fender flares for the ZX. Might wanna try them.
I had sent an email to Jim Cook Racing about the flares, but never received an answer. So I have no idea how much they are, or what they look like installed. Has anyone seen a pic of a 280ZX with the JCR flares mounted?
Yup. It's always better to call during business hours Pacific time.
I've only seen one set of flares on a ZX that looked worth a damn and that was last Sunday at the Z meet in Pleasanton, CA.
Ice brought a friend of his that extended the fenders on his 280ZX by cutting the lip off the edge and installing about 2" of metal and welded the lip back on. It was the cleanest, smoothest flare job I've seen on a ZX. Most ZX flare jobs I've seen look like bolt-on crap.
Here's the only picture I've found so far:
