Paint Jobs?????
Paint Jobs?????
I am thinking about getting my car repainted. I was thinking about white w/ red pearls. I have been looking for paint shops that do it and how much it would be problay to get dings and dents out also. I've only heard that it will cost 3500 dollars. Do you know where it might be cheaper or the same amount and they do a really good job. I need the shop to be in texas around dallas.
remember you get what you pay for... $3500 sounds very reasonable... thats how much i paid for mine and i bought my own paint too.. i spent close to $1000 on just paint primer and clear. i had the body shop go down to bare metal and work out any rust spots they found.. well the body shop recomended they do that job since the car is so old and the original paint didnt hold up very well.. i also had them install a body kit and remove all my glass and moldings on my car.. they painted all my door jams and the back side of my hood too.. if you were looking for a paint job for under $1500 youll get a paint job youll get a paint job with either cheap paint or poor body work.. take your time go to the body shops around your area and look at some of the cars they have in thier shops and check the quality of thier work.. also ask what type of paint do they use... i went with PPG... might cost a lil more then other paints but man its worth all the money they ask for..
Yea when i bought mine it had a kit. It is still on it, but i'm not sure if i want a 3500 dollar paint job cause i'm in high school, and if someone keyed it or somethin, it would suck really bad, so i might just get a cheap paint job till i get out of high school. Thanks though
If you want a cheapee job to get you through h/s, try Earl Sheib or one of those places. It may not be the greatest, but the price is cheap as dirt. I've seen them advertise for 300 for a job. Can't say much on the quality of their work, but it will work for a few years till you get done with school.
