He has a much better body, except for a few dings here and there. At least you can drive yours everyday. I can't quite yet. I mean I could drive my '81, but he has so much damage to the front. It looks like he came from the junkyard! Plus the front-end needs rebuilding. (bushings, and idler arm) He will wear out tires in the front because I can't get him aligned. Anyway sorry for the long post. Just rambling as usual!
haha I know that sucks man... however, I couldnt help but laugh when I was reading about the Diplomat! to know that such a crappo car would damage a Z! haha I would still give the 81 hell, man! Turn it into your stunt car

I also need all bushings replaced, and also my drivers side (Ibelieve) "A" arm is slightly bent. My dad ripped it apart and said it would be fine unless I get in another accident. My mom said the same, and she's been a mechanical Engineer for 10+ years! ( Dad has been Automation Specialist for 31!)

Hey Jabo it's cool. But I was not happy at all. But yeah my '81 will be all decked out, after I finish my '82. I can't let him go, no matter how damaged he is. he was my first sportscar. He's not going anywhere!

Thats some smooth work dude. The arm rest looks very custom. How was the fabric install with the screwed-on arm rest cover?

and the headliner looks great too.

I had the top piece of the arm rest off, and just made sure it had a decent amount of fabric to be screwed in, more security for fabric shift. I just used a spray adhesive for both the armrest and headliner. Thanks for the compliments everyone, I was actually kindof worried about a mixed response, but so far it's 100% positive If anyone's interested in work like this, gimme a holla.
