Looking for 280zx Body Kits

I know that this question has probably been asked a billion times over but I'm looking for some body kits for my 82 280ZXT I like the g-nose but need a rear end to compliment it.

I've seen a bunch of MSA stuff but I'm not too impressed by it. I like something that looks like more of a molded look, so that it doesn't look so aftermarkety if u know what I mean.

Any help would be great cause I plan on doing the pain err paint job soon =p

well you could buy MSA kit and actualy do a little work with it and mould it to the car, i am doing that now trying to blend it in so it looks like part of the car...all it takes is put the kit on...slap some tape to the body of the car and then mould fiberglass up to the tape and then take everything off and smooth it out...this way the kit will suck on to the body and look like its a part of it...just a suggestion if you dont find what yer looking for..

I don't believe the G-nose is made for the 280ZX. And, if it is, it's probably discontinued.

Cardboard, the next big thing besides paper mache. You can mold it to whatever shape you like.

I shall refer you to another recent thread about 280zx body kits:

There was a G Nose for the 280zx... but I'm sure it's harder than hell to find one now. I don't think the kit has been produced in a long time. The G nose was targetted for the 240z.

I still wish you luck finding a Gnose kit though, for any of the Z's for that matter. A complete kit anyways. You'll find pieces here and there for sale but's it's hard as hell to source an entire conversion. And it's probably going to fetch a pretty penny.

If anyone has any pics what so ever of the ZX G-nose kit can they email them to me. It would be greatly appreciated. I've got an idea cooking in my late-nite mind state and I think I like it. I'll do some searching for some pics too.

jfairladyz@yahoo.com Thanks.

Alright, go to page 3 when u go to this link. Scroll down and you'll see a pic of the g-nose. I would simply die happy if my 280ZX's front end could look like that. It's one of those...Damn that's a nice 280ZX looks and not one of those...wtf kinda cars is that kinda looks.

Ahh, yes ... Chewievette. If I recall correctly, he was in the process of designing a body kit/conversion for 280ZXs, to make them look like a Ferrari 575M, or whatever that Italian Sausage on page 3 was.

Did you notice how the hood sits recessed behind the bumper in the Gnose pics? That would explain how they got the hood open without destroying the bumper. Thanks for the pics.

Oh and whatever happened to Chewie? Last I heard from him was a response through the classifieds section.

G-nose looks nice...is that a 280 front end on a porsche though??? those look like porche rear fenders, and the roofline kinda looks ****-ish . I also like the Kaminari 70-78 front end that S/C put up (jimcookracing.com) Would those panels fit a 79+ 280zx?
