Lamp sensor?

Lamp sensor?
My courtesy lights (lights that are located under dash/above the driver and passenger's legs) that are supposed to dim are not working. Fuses/lamps are good. Is it possible that the lamp sensor is to blame? Any suggestions are ALWAYZ appreciated.

oh ya, i had that problem!
On mine, I had fried the "dimmer" for the interrior lights. This device is only on the '82-83 models and located behind the FI computer. (left foot of driver for US cars)
everything unbolts easy. Trouble is finding one used...
Once plugged in, all the lights came on and dimmed properly. Oh, I fried it trying to hook up an alarm and set up the parking lights to flash, ect.
