E30 bimmer seats in a S130?

I did it. I got 88 M3 seats and put them in the Z. Had to hack the holy hell out of the floor to get them as low as I wanted, but they look sweet!

Well, I sit good and low now. I had to remove all of the stock mounts and reinforcement, along with flattening the floor out with the jack and a wood block and a sledge. I bolted the seats through the floor to steel box tube for extra support and etch primed and sealed where I removed spotwelds and stuff. I don't recommend doing this to your car as it can create safety problems, but I'm crazy so I will do it to my stuff all day long. Also, the BMW seatbelts are going in, and they will fit in the stock locations using the Nissan bolts, but I have to go back and get the BMW lower mount loop as its not a part of the seatbelt. the seatbelt receiver is mounted to the seat, so I don't have to worry about that.

Dude, its ****en awesome. I blew the NA in December and swapped everything over from a turbo car this past spring. Its running and gutted now. Got a lil more interior work to do but shes ****en sweet as ever. just needs paint and some bigger wheels. You should come through to the thursday night meets in dublin. Its good to see you didnt sell the Z after it got stolen. I was trippin for a sec. All that work on the body and paint last year only to sell it woulda been a shame. And its a slicktop? Crazy
