Question dash seal

There is a seal that is supposed to go between the dash and windshield on the 79-83 280zx to fill a gap that is about a 1/4 of an inch. The nissan part number is 72717-p7125. This piece is no longer available from nissan. Does anybody know where to get it or know of some sort of alternative to use? i REALLY need this piece so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to ZDriver!

Do you mean SEALANT? Part# 72717-p7125 is sealant... not a seal.

I know it comes up as a sealant under this part number, but under the old number it comes up as an upper insturment panel garnish. I think it used to actually used to be a seal or some kind of rubber molding but was later replaced by the sealant.
