I Found That Spot Too Works Great, If You Have Enough Crap In Your Console, Then Open The Lid And Stick It In There. The Stuff Helps Hold The Drink!!

 

Yeah, the hot tranny tunnel can be problematic when it somes to placing cold drinks in that oh-so-nifty spot. I remember when I made my blitzkrieg 32 hour Florida to San Diego drive last year that I went to chug some Gatorade I had put there only an hour before and it was nasty hot! Nothing worse than expecting a nice cold refreshing drink and getting something is that barely below boiling temp instead.
