Shady is obviously more talented than me...me, I do fiberglass and....just about anything fiberglass can stick to. I have built spoilers for people using cardboard as a substrate....in the end it held extremely well. Plus its a fun talent, you can do doorpanels, speakerboxes, other interior panels..blah blah.

Oh, also, if you do go the diy route, make sure you research....it will save you hundreds on trial and error, I learned everything the hard way....

so i was looking at the 30th anniversary body kit on MSA and was wondering what i would have to do to go about putting it on. Would i have to cut the body parts to the right demensions or do they come ready to install?

well its suppose to be ready to install... you'll find out you might have to tweek it out just a lil bit if you want it to fit the way you want it to... i did that to mine cause i wanted it molded to the body instead of just being stuck on...

alright thanks, yours looks great by the way. I dont really know how much an entire body kit is gunna set me back it looks like it would be around 700 or so. How much did the one you put on end up costing you?

Same here... I have the MSA Type 2 and the front bumper requred a bit of trimming to open the hood and fit to the fenders, the rear was near perfect, the and sides requred a bit of work because they are molded to the body. The hardest part of the whole deal was trying to figure out how to mount the front and rear bumpers.

fiberglass works well also, you can mount foam to the car and fg over it, then make parts from that. i just like metal for some stuff. i started that route as my rockers were missing, so figured might as well go custom
