Body kit availability

Hiya guys,

I know that the MSA bodykits are pretty common for the S130 and I have seen a few different ones like NASCAR style. But was wondering what others are made accessable to us by people other that MSA. I like the MSA II kit but was cosidering other posibilities. Any pics or links would be appreciated.

MSA is your best option, but BDA has some too:

unlike late model cars there are only a few kits available. 4 different air dams, a couple side skirt types and a couple rear bumpers. Most are just under the stock bumpers. The MSA II kit I think is the only one that replaces the bumpers front and rear. you are very limited on styles to choose from

I do like the MSA II kit but its rather common amoung the s130's and like bleach said we don't have many options. I suppose I keep it stock looking, put some bigger rims for better tyre options and spend the money where it counts the most. On the places u can't see it =P.

body kits really dont add traction or speed in most cases here. not until your really moving. tyres would help the most, but rims arent exactly cheap either.

Yeah bout that. I was looking at 16 inch panasports that should cover the money i was going to spend on a body kit. In AUS they have plenty of 16 inch tyre options as standard size is like 17 inch on new sedans (dont quote me on that).

On other note dont mean to distract from thread who else here is from the land down under?

Hahaha I just noticed something funny. Now noone in their s130 mind would do this but, the bodykit from blackdragon auto on the s130. If u removed the bumper and made some mods to a s30 bumper u could make an s30 styled front end. Skittle with ur mad photoshop skills could u give a possibe pic for me. =) Let the evil begin!

Thats the look i originaly wanted to go for. The S30 look on our S130 cars. ive kind of achieved that i guess since most people who have a lil to zero (hehe) Z knowledge never can tell. Of course oficionado's like our selves know right away, its just kind of kewl to get that question some times.
But to get back on track, its not that hard to do. All you would need to do its get rid of the stock bumper and cut and weld a S30 style to make it wider, hopefully an early 240 style, and some simple body work to bring it all together around the headlight buckets and lower valence. I know i got a pic of mine with the front end kind of close to that somewhere . .i'll look

Awsome, thanks apollo that would be great. Well it would be a unique look to everyone else and may improve on the saftey bumpers appeal that we have. Then that would make room for the four core. Hmmm I see great potential for this idea.

but never for sale in the US. Some company in the UK had it... but they more recently removed all the 280ZX parts from their website.

Besides, shipping cost more than the front g-nose
