I would continue the black line from the molding. It would compliment the Gnose very well. Similar to the gold and black gnose

Still on cut springs. I did not have time before Canby to do the new spring install. Sadly it may never be that low again. :)

Here is my current stance: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2436/...64715e39_o.jpg And this is what I am trying to achieve: http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...98_LOWERED.jpg |
Oh and btw... my vote is for painting the bumper and losing the trim on the doors :023:
|
Im no photoshop pro, so this is crappy hack job with a garbage program, but i think it conveys the idea. . .

you extended the trim..i think they meant extending the turbo part into the groove under the stuff you painted apollo.
|
Actually I really like that black trim idea... Previously I felt like the bumper was missing something, but that completes it.
|
I think its missing a big chrome brush guard and mudflaps...
|
i would agree with the black stripe idea if it weren't for the fact that the black "stripe" is in fact an ugly piece of plastic, and not actually a stripe. remove it all!
the painting sounds good on paper and work in photoshop but i bet would never look nearly as good as removing it all together in RL (real life) |
The black rubber strip does protect against some door dings which is nice.
I have plenty of other work to do before I get back to bodywork. The 350Z seats are installed. Next up is Tokico springs/struts, clean and paint suspension, alignment, Z31 ECU, replace or fix gauges, 3.7 R200 install... and much more. |
i would say keep the turbo stripe, lose the black bumper sides and paint the bumper. its the cheapest route right now, and the easiest to put back. keep the black bumpers incase you dont like it, they just stick on anyways. you can always re-paint the bumper black later if you re-instal the side bumpers.
