Exclamation Aritaspeed G-nose for the 280ZX (remake)

280ZForce's reproduction of the gnose has arrived.

He left the front turn signal spaces sealed up as I requested. Strangely, the air inlet in the middle and the headlights are also sealed up. Probably not too hard to cut those out.

The last "g-nose" I saw I REALLY didnt like it, it looked WAY to much like a boat then a car, or a Z for that matter. That one looks neat, I cant wait to see it on the car

I see those off the car and for some reason I think it looks like a frog... I see one on the car and I wish I had another Z to work on Can't wait to see your Z finished!

Gold and black is baller. You should paint yours this color.

The sealed up headlight area is a perfect opportunity to mount some projectors.
I see yours has the recesses for flush mount headlight covers. Are they reproducing those as well?

I do have projectors and I did think of mounting them to the fiberglass. I also figured that if I use a plate to hold the projectors in place of the sealed beams, then I can use the factory adjustment screws to fine tune the aim of the light beams. (unlike NismoPick who likes to blind truckers on his way to MSA)

I'm leaning towards cutting them out. Plus I may just barely get this painted and installed in 3 weeks. (Canby Datsun show) Not sure I'll have time to also do my headlight mods.

The clear headlight covers are not available right now. Too few of these are even sold in the US to make it worth it even if all the G-nose owners bought a pair.

Here is my old photoshop pic of the 280ZX lowered and the headlight covers on. I never really noticed the gap before. I see it a little in this pic.

I know this comes as a big surprise, but I'm going to paint the airdam silver, not gold and black.

Truckers... and Chinesekid.

Hey! I installed them the night before driving to MSA... no time to fine tune them.

Looks good brother. Are there fiberglass tabs on the back or does it just wrap around the bumper frame like the MSA II bumper?

It wraps around the back.

That and the large tabs by the headlight buckets are the only spots to bolt it down. Justin said it will rest on the factory metal bumper. I'll have to see how it does when I test fit it this week.

dude, you need to go to home depot and get some vinyl siding for some tyte ground effects, and some kick *** vents and crap. wood screws will hold it on great!

Whats the scoop on this Bleach? I know i wanted you to take a little longer but cmon. Its just a bumper. Slap it on there and lets see some pics. Painted or not!

Wow, I too am slightly amazed to see ya. Too bad the site has gone to hell. Most of its substance and the quality members that contributed have all but dissipated. Just a bunch of youth with nothing better to do than falk around, irritate people and pollute the internet with their mindless rants about nothing. Welcome back, skully.

Not feeling the Gnose? I think with some subtle touches it could be ill'n. That is if bleach ever gets it on the car

Good to see ya Apollo. No I was kidding its going to look awesome. As far as the gap goes, you remember how I closed my airdam to hood gap? Do the same and you will have like 1/8th of an inch gap inbetween the two and it will look amazing.
