I'm not gonna let you see it. haha

Well, in my test fits the hood hit the airdam. I actually trimming it at an angle to clear. There should be very little to no gap at all.

I had to tear the car down quite a bit just to test fit it on there. Headlight buckets, lower valance, bumper, and hood all came off. The bumper had some touchup bodywork done to it and trimming here and there along with cutting out the headlight holes and front air inlet.

I got the final fit done and the mounting holes drilled. The piece was primered and the first layer of paint applied yesturday.

I have massive pics and a video. Pics before the final trimming and paint.

Looks pretty good with that small gap. You said that g-nose is all fiberglass right?

Kinda makes me want to buy the Arita gnose selling locally. I think it would look gorgeous in a 2 tone paint scheme. What are your plans for color? Just going to match it or is the whole car getting sprayed?

Where are the after pics
!?!?! Thats it, Im going to have to charge you for the previous use of the Apollo jacket for your failure to comply with requests for a decent photographic update. Its gunna cost you the gnose. I'll have my people pick it up in the morning.

Its not a gap, its a shadow. The fiberglass was resting on the hood. I trimmed the edge back at an angle to clear the hood later.

I'll post finished pics on Sunday night, after the Canby show in Portland.

Glad to see this fit up really well with very minor work.

Did you release some air outta the bumper shocks, push them in some and put the bumper support back on for safety?

Can't wait to see it painted and some better views of it.

I found some other pics of 1 installed I forgot I had...

That's not a spray booth. That's just my Power Wheels I'm fixing up that I hide behind a clear plastic tarp.

Yes it overlaps the fender and wraps around the back, just like the MSA fiberglass front does.
It bolts from the back into the fender lip.

I actually removed the entire bumper for weight savings.

I've got good news... Bleach made it to the Canby Show with it painted!

I didn't go but I've already seen some first hand pics that were shared with me and it looks freakin beautiful.

I'm sure he'll throw some pics up by tonight or tomorrow sometime. I don't wanna spoil his own reveal of it to you guys.

I'm glad this g-nose I made fits up so nicely and looks awesome.

Nice! I cheated and went to a another forum and checked it out. Very nice. He just needs to follow up with the black stripe and bring it up front to complete the two tone look. Very, very nice though. When, if ever do you think you will have headlight covers, 280Zforce?

I will and can have custom headlight covers made, only thing is there isn't enough of these out there yet and it isn't cheap to have them done from scratch.

When more of these get sold I'll consider it a task to be reckoned with.

I think people just needed some reassurance that these 280zx g-nose were a quality piece and the real deal.

And from what I hear, they fit up a lot better than the run of the mill MSA body kits and don't look like everyone else's of course

blah! you're too fast for me. Ya, I deleted the old pics so nobody that was planning to go to Canby would accidentally find this thread before Canby

Instead of continuing the black stripe around the front I may remove the black rubber molding and paint the rear bumper all silver. That may just lead me to paint the whole car again at once. I would prefer not to loose that original TURBO door decal

I think it might have a cool effect if you continued the turbo sticker onto the bumper, it looks like it lines up with the indentation on the side almost perfectly... I think it's a job for someone with PS though lol
