280zx + Mach1 mustang wing = good?

my friend is restoring a mach 1 mustang and has a spare wing for it so im thinkin about putting on my 2+2. has something like this been done before? I noticed that the back end of the mustang looks much wider than the z. any thoughts?

might be a bit big. best way to find out is to just set it on there and see what it looks like.

It'll probably be a bit too wide, but that can be fixed with your friendly chop saw! I'm not sure the rear deck of the 2+2 is going to lend itself to that kind of wing very well. I can tell you that somewhere, every wing ever managed has been bolted or glued to the deck of one of these cars. Unfortunately, most of them look like no thought was put into them... ;(

Borrow it, set it on the rear deck, take a picture or a few and see if you like it. If you do, take the time to attach it correctly and enjoy the ride.
