hey... been asking about my car alot but.. as some of you might know.. i just got a 280zx.. but i was wondering if i can pick up a 280z tail light and fit it onto the 280zx... will it fit or will it work?? and if you guys can... tell me if what i can put from the 280z into my 280zx... i like the front of the 280z.. but i dont know what i wanna do w/ my car... i want to keep it like the zx but have some of the Z on it too...

 

the tail lights will not fit and none of the body panels bolt on. They are two completely different cars. The engines and transmissions are interchangable. That's pretty much all.

 

Was wondering what can I do to the tail light.... Doesn't really like how that look on the zx

 

I know Klearz was working on Euro clear tail lights before the "fire." I dunno if he ever made more than 1 or 2 sets... but here is his page:

Could always go custom like some of the people on here have done. Apollo has put some circular taillights on. Someone posted pics of a white Z with 06 Mustang taillights. Just get creative. If you want the 280z taillights then you can make them work but it's going to require some fabrication on your or your body shops part.

 

Have you seen the later turbo tails?? The lights are a little different, a little cleaner in my view?? I am looking for a set.

 

I just sold a set of those. I have a set another set if you want em. One has a very small crack so if you want them I'll give them to you for free + shipping. I just shipped off a set of tails and the center turbo panel for $17.00. It would be less than that though since it's just the taillights. Up to you. Otherwise they're getting tossed with the rest of the car.

are they still up for grabs? Ive been looking for a pair of the later turbo taillights for my 82.

 

i got 2 sets of them, i think there ugly. any body want them, 10 bucks a set plus shipping, on of them might be a little damaged, ill have to find them and take pics.

 

are they the ones with the black stripes running across them?

 

yeah those ugly things, i think, there put away and forgotten about.

 

My parts car got towed so mine are gone. I agree with SHADY. That's why I sold one set on ebay and the other's never came off the parts car. I like my early taillights better.
