A freind of mine told me that I could bolt on all my 92 model civic panels to my 240z chasis without drilling any holes. I think this would look great. Do you guys think it would also be possible to plant my very quick civic motor in the hatch of my z with a short shaft into the diff below??? I know that when my car is finished and I post my pics many of you will go insanely jelous and most likely never drive your own cars again.
It's ok fellas I'm willing enough to give you all advice on having a z just as good as mine!

yea, I'de have to agree thats about the dumbest thing ive heard in a long time. The farthest i would go if i had the ***** to destroy a z was put the z pannels on the civic to make it look good instead of looking like a little ricey thing that cant go anywhere. Datsuns were/are/and always will be something to be treasured, and to destroy a Z to make it look like a CIVIC!!! Your out of your league kid...

make sure the frames are soooo rusted on the Z chassis u do it on, so that u loose more weight.. okey.. the less weight the better... also while ur putting the civic motor at the back, put the diff at the front wheels, to make it a real honda, rember the type R badges also.. or ralliart up to u

You have got to be joking, right? You want to [censored] up your Z so you can look like all those carbon copy [censored]'s out there? Why??? If you want a Civic then drive a Civic. We have no problem with that, go post on a Honda site and be cattle like so many others. Moo. A side note, why do so many like Hondas? People are afraid to think for themselves and follow the crowd. If you like the Z, then like it for what it is. Sure, change the engine if you want to. Slap a few mods on if you must, but respect the car for what it was designed. Don't go and trash it out with a engine that was never designed for it or especially panels designed for a completly different type of car. This is nuts. Would you put 20" rims, chrome naked ladies, **** carpet on the dash, neon pink paint and 'Juarez' on the rear window of a Honda? (well some would). No because it would not look right. Likewise putting these parts on a Z will destroy the way it looks, and they way it performs. Do you realize that the car is almost perfectly balanced? Put that engine in and watch you handling go to [censored]. I can respect you if you can honestly say you like Hondas. Thats fine as long if it is you that likes them and not some brainless cow following the herd because some 13 year old watched 'The Fast and the Furious' and decided they like the look. If you like the Civic, great. Good for you. But this is not your forum and you need to find a nice Honda forum. You will probably feel more comfortable there anyway discussing how you can further modify a ECONOMY car so that it sounds like my vacume cleaner driving.

I love z's with everything i got, but i dont talk smack on any other car. I cant name how many times i have been smoked by a honda at the strip or the street. All of you know you have been up against one mean Honda at least once in your Z life and lost. I know you will come on here denying it and saying itll never happen, but come on you know the truth as well as i do. I have been to many open track events and seen what some of these honda are made of. ever heard of JUN machine Shop? they have this one civic hatchback that will probably toast MOST z's here. Thats the truth guys.

im getting sick of hearing about honda this, honda that. admit it, honda has us made. they provide excellent gas mileage, and the performance you CAN get from those little motors is GREAT for a 4cyl. Admit it. Us Z guys are screwed on gas, insurance, and we are VERY limited on what we can do with our L series motors.

i dont like honda, but i tell the truth and they are a good car to build up. Not my preference though, i love my z!
