Where is the oil temp sending unit?

Where is the oil temp sending unit?
Hi guys...my oil temp is not working right now and I was wondering if some one could tell me where I could find the sensor on my 83 280zxt. Thanks.

Oil Temp? You sure you don't mean oil Pressure?

He does mean the oil temp sending unit. Turbos have them. Rear of the oil pan, has a wire hooked to it.

OH! ok.. nevermind then!!!

PS.. so with a turbo oil pan on my '71 I can have an oil temp gauge?

Steve, Im sure you could prob put a bung(sp?) in the oil pan to screw the sending unit into. As far as the exact location check out a turbo pan.
