dude, do this. remove as much of the dents as possible. then (i know but shut up) bondo the imperfections. then sand it all the entire car. then paint it flat black rattle can (car paint rattle can though) or do a rustoleum paint job and then get the carbs fixed and sell it. that should cost you less then 500 dollars.

i woudnt go way less, the carbs could cost a bit to get rebuilt and tuned 200-300 i would imagine. ****, just buying rebuilt 3 screw ruond tops i saw for sale at 550 dollars! and the body work i listed will make it look clean again and will protect the car ALOT.

i'm guessing they are SU's. a rebuild kit plus needles and jets is about 30 bucks each. it's not a hard procedure, i've done it many times. but maybe they arn't SU's. rebuild kits are still cheap

I'm not the moderator but if I was I'd say stop using this thread for a chat line/sales negotiation. That's what PM is for.

Just thought I'd say something since it took the moderator weeks to stop you from turning the entire forum into a **** sight. There are women and younger people visiting here from all the Americas, Europe and Aus.

I don't know where you got that comparison (awesome sig to violent games). I am talking about respect for this forum. You are the reason for the notice on the main page and yet you continue to push the envelope. Respect is considering what other people think and feel (several hundred members). You have a lot to offer in a postive way. It's easy to get off track just like this reply. Ramz out

its a metaphor, you know, a comparison of two things or situations using the words like or as. trust me, it wasnt JUST me doing it. also, it was one pic at first that every one really did like, then for a day i changed it yes, got banned for a few, others followed in suit apparently, and the notice went up. mine was at least a joke. besides its almost a double standard on here when the mods on this site like to photoshop collage's together of gay things along with rainbow bright my little pony and other various pictures together and make that your sig for you. i get how you were trying to respect the sanctity of this thread, but bottom line is, this kid is getting all the help he can get in all his other 100 threads that ask many times, the simplest of things, and i had 2 posts on the 3rd page off topic and your trying to propel a controversy out of it. i respect the notion, but honestly, not really necessary here. now lets all go back to being friends, and the ironic part was we were pm'ing one another before you even said to.

*cough cough* So this Carb rebuild kit runs about 30 bucks eh? for one carb or both? Cuz mines coming due for a rebuild or a good cleaning. Can't get it to maintain a steady idle. likes to jump around.

Oh, and yeah, forget the loan thing, and just take baby steps. I made the mistake of a loan at 18 w/ the help of a parent for 10k and then a loan again at 20 for 4k. Trust me. I got NO MONIES DUDE! I keep my head above the water and the sharks off my toes. Thats it. No fun stuffs or anything for me unless its free. I'm repairing my 260 with chump change. a little at a time, and i know people who know people who get me parts dirt *** cheap. Something tells me you might not have that little luxury. Its not fun man, and i'm applying for a second job Next week just so that i can keep bills paid and cash in pocket. Cars can wait. beleive me, i don't think they're gonna dissappear any time soon. worse comes to worse, "sell" it to you mom and pop and have them store it for you while you get some college or something. Go visit every so often and bring it some lucas fuel and oil treatment or a new part. little bits at a time. Don't rush it. you'll end up so deep in dept the cockroaches in your house'll starve to death.
