i recently locked myself out of my z, broke the window to get back in (slim jim just made me mad), replaced the door, was taking all the glass out, and i noticed that the carpet under the seat was wet. i pull it over and the metal floor is all wet and nasty!

it rained about a month ago and its still wet? I didnt see any rust holes but it looks bad, am i going to have to do some major work on this or can i just dry it out and fix the leaks?

 

there shouldnt be any problem with just drying it out and fixing the leaks but watch for rust just in case.

 

If there isnt any rust on the floorboard, then you shouldnt have too many problems. Just clean the floor out and spray it with rust converter just to be on the safe side. Do you know where the water got in from? Was is the broken window, or was it from elsewhere? If I were you, Id locate the source of the water, and block that off.

it wasnt the broken window, i know of one leak from the windshield and top seal... there must be more.
