A-vascular nicrosis

alright im 19 years old, im in the army. why do i have to have this curse. i went to sick call today ( the doctor) because i had a growth on the inner of my right leg. it is discolered, white pink and red. very hyper sensitive. even to sunlight. when the doc had me pull up my pank leg, her eyes lit up. she said she knows exactly what it is. i had a steroid injection about a year ago this time. for a damaged patella tendon. what has happened is when the captin injected the steroid, part of it or most of it got into a vien in my leg. had a reaction and has killed the vien, causing no blood, or O2 to go to my muscle tissue or skin. now my muscle in the side of my leg has atrafuted, i have loss a large amount of tissue on the inner of my right knee, and is eating away cartalige, flesh in my thigh and calf. and i have to get surgery to remove the vien, dead tissue or whats left, and skin graphs to replace the dead skin... very disturbing..

Sorry to hear that.. Hope everything goes well for you man. Keep us posted

On a side note, I'm curious as to why this is in the 240Z,260Z,280Z Forums? Might be able to get more people in here if we had it in the lounge.

with that you should be able to get 100% or close to disability if you want, thats what i'd do I'd get out with as muchas possible becasue they still have to pay you for life.

god love you, man-----i hope there is some kind of help you can get----did you look into the private sector of medicine for treatment?????what happens there is if you are covered by government "insurance", the privvate sector must help without charging you---cedars sinai has some good doctors and so does city of hope.......have you appealed to either of them?????please do --or find an even better place for treatment......please.......get other opinions before anything really final and drastic get done to you--------please.....there are fem-pop bypass graftings and plastic srugery to save the leg------please look into these alternatives----you are IN the army, therefore, you are insured and i hope you are able to find appropriate and helpful help so you have 2 legs when y are done with treatment.......good luck, please check out all alternatives beforeyou let them do anything final......
