think 2+2's are ugly?
think 2+2's are ugly? im not sure if i like em or not. are they heavier and longer or just a different body style?
still looking for a car locally and found a 83 2+2 turbo w/ 88k orig miles for 2.5k. but not sure i like the looks hehe.

I used to own a 77 2+2 loved it then....Personally I think the ZX and 300ZX 2+2s are better looking. All depends on what you do with the car also. Lowering it a bit, after market wheels, tires and body kits all go to makeing a Z car look even better.
They are a little bit heavier and longer. Plus side for 2+2s is that you can carry at the very least one more person.
Your decision though. You don't drive a Z car because of what others think. You drive it because its one of the best damn built sports cars around.

I have a 1976 280Z 2+2 and I don't think it's ugly. i must admit when I first got it I wasn't so sure about it, But once I took of the ugly *** bumpers and put some nice wheels on it looks alot better. When I finally get the body kit and get it painted it will look real nice. I do think the coupe body looks better, but I don't think the 2+2's are ugly. I also took out the rear seat because it was a joke anyway and put speakers back there.

I'm getting the Motorsport Auto, Aero II body kit. I don't have it on the car yet though. If I figure out how to use this scanner and send pictures I'll send you some, but I'm not real computer savy.

I don't think I would ever buy one unless I was making a convertible. I think the 2+2 looks good like that. What is the point of having the backseat in the 2+2. You can't even put a grocerie bag back there. I say ditch em and put a custom subwoofer box in place of em. I wish they would have put the opening quarter windows in the 2 seaters that would be sweet.

well, i'm an extreme noob to the nissan world. i just bought an 88 300zx. and this may sound stupid for my first post but it is kinda imortant for me to know. is it possible to put the back seat in when its not supposed to be there?

I love my 2+2 i can scoot around with more people and with some body kit stuff later, it'll look bomb. plus u can't really tell THAT much when u ask ur average joe. the weight is only a couple hundred pounds, so no high performance, more of a "practical" datsun? ANYWAYS I LOVE MINE AND I LOVE THIS THREAD
