does anybody know if i can make my tack work and be accurate in my v8z

 

Depends on the year. If I recall, the early tachs cannot even be used. My 75 V-8 just required adjusting a screw in the back of the tach following JTR's instructions. I cannot guarantee the OEM tach will be accurate and if you have an early car, I suggest you spring for an Autometer 5" Monster tach. It fits into the stock hole nicely.
