Strut Brace
Can front strut braces be installed on a 79 zx? I've seen a lot of installations on z's throughout this site, and I thought I could fabricate my own, but when I tried to pre-fit a piece of 3/4" square tube across the towers I couldn't close the hood.
I don't want to notch the inside of the hood, and it looks like I would be defeating the purpose of the brace if I had to put bends in it. What's the solution?
