what bolt pattern/style mount does a 77 280z have for a steering wheel? Im looking at getting a sparco suede wheel and am not sure if i need an adapter or what.

Single nut in the middle... take a look at your stock steering wheel & you will then see.

Pull off the horn button / pad.... shouldn't take too long to do that.

heh. happened to have a phillips with whilst waiting at a drive thru. seems simple enough. do most aftermarket steering wheels fit or do you need a hub/adapter? Ideally i would like to get a quick release as i plan to rally prep my z and getting in/out will be tight. that and you cannot have a key ignition... but hey. itll be fun!

You can make most any wheel work if you have the know how. Pick out the wheel you want, and RESEARCH it.

You don't find "researching parts and modifications" about your car fun? That's weird....
