I have a '77 280Z 2+2, currently my speaker situation is: Some Jackass cut holes in the wood cover for my spare for speakers Those are the only two I have. I've noticed factory spots in the side panels of the back seat. Are these the only two, or are there more I can't see? I would love to find a stereo wiring diagram for her, but I've had no luck. Please give sites/suggestions/etc on this dillemna.
Also I was wondering about buying a new cover panel for my spare.

The earlier z's had two speakers in the rear of the car near the hatch. The 280s had two speakers near the windows behind the seats. I think they are 4" speakers. And yes they are the only two that came in the car unless custom stuff has been done. If a wiring diagram is what you seek then you should buy a factory service manual. In it is the wiring schem's for all the wiring in the car. You can hunt for one online but that takes a lot of time, or you can order a cd version from Courtesy Nissan of Texas. I just got mine for my 78 280z coupe and it rocks. Just print out the stuff you want to bring to your car. There is also a speaker cabinet available through motorsport auto and someone else on the net that fits right below the hatch in the back.
the manual is 70$ really worth it
the cabinet is 130$ something good idea but you can make your own for way less.
