I was cycling through old messages and found this one. First of all.. DAMN! This car is retarded. I could see such a blower/hot rodded setup in a huge old chevy.. but a honda? And why such thick rear slicks, is the car not a fwd? I really need to get one of those "**** on: (honda sign)".. I saw one on a z31 turbo at a grocery store and I laughed at it.. waited up for a few minutes and met the owner. Turned out his wife owned a civic, and he just hated it, and the people who trick out a 1.7 liter engine. Funny stuff there

I like lots of different cars. It just so happens that Z cars are one of my favorites. However, that Honda is UGLY. I don't care how fast Johnny soups up a Civic, it is still an ugly Civic. You can make anything go fast with money, patience and more money. The trick is to go fast in car that looks GOOD. Nuf said.

Hondas WERE around 20 years ago, and they weren't like 510's... they were ishtty little junkers that now only the trashest of white trash high school kids drive these days. How dare you put current hondas and 510's in the same bracket...

wow i didnt expect replys, just wanted to post a funny picture...hehe as for the 510 and hondas in the same bracket....510 had no vtec,,,they had carb tec...you cant put historic vehicles with the common car. oh well thats what i think. so people say hondas have shietty motor 4 bangers,,,well thats their opinions,,i know a lot of strong 4 banger hondas....to bad they got no torque no matter how you build em...hehe hmmm 30 years old parts vs brand new stuff...hmmm 510s 240zs 1200s b210s 610s great historic race cars....datsun..we are driven

Don't get me wrong. Honda makes some strong engines and good looking cars. I like the new S2000 and it's high rpm screamer. The Acura NSX is another quick ride that looks good. I would drive either one would a large smile on my face.

Back in the early 70's Honda had a 1000cc little "micro" car while Datsun had a 1.6L family sedan with independant suspension. That's why you see all those old ads about the 510 being a sedan that drives like a sports car. And the 240Z could beat the Porshe of its day for half the cost!
you could get so much more out of an old school Datsun than any other 4-banger.
Today, those 1.8L Hondas are still behind. What does Nissan have? My wife drives an older 2.4L Altima that can waste a Honda. Even the sentra has a 2.0L engine. Only the Acuras have engines that big. And now Nissan has a 3.5L Altima and Maxima. honda is still behind Nissan... and Acura? Well, the Infiniti Q45 V8 could beat any Acura if it wasn't in such a large and heavy car! hehe...
and with the price of the NSX, I think that is considered an exotic car. Compare it to a Ferrari or Viper.
