should i dare?
im going to college and lookin for a car to ride around town, and i come across a 79 280zx bright orange for $950, along with the owner, I know nothing about z's, so i take it for a test drive and it seems i'm shifting with no clutch, its practicaly stuck to the floor, but get it around the block, fun.
i look around the web and find many people describing similiar probs always being diagnosed as master/slave cylinders bad, so hopefully i can fix for under $100, the car has some rust under door, but looks pretty damn good, what should i look for before taking it for another ride, i dont want to have to replace the clutch.
thanks

Re: should i dare?
well it sounds like its only the slave cylinder. if thats all its like a 12 dollar part and easy to fix. check for rust, thats the main prob with these cars (
