Self Inflicted Binky Damage

MAAAAAN, I was moving Binky back in the garage a little to get more room under the front and banged the end of the door into the garage door rails...SO not happy...taking him down for a quote today...this could be messy.

Sorry, to hear about Binky's accident. Ouch! $1,100 is nuts! You can buy another door and have it painted for a lot less than that. You are gonna get more estimates, aren't ya?

Ouch, ya get another estimate. Then again were talking Aussie dollars, so how much is that compared to US dollars?

Sorry to hear it! If that door got kind of accordion-crunched, I guess AUS$1100 isn't too bad. You have my sympathy. I have two "stupidity dents" that I got during restoration (almost done...) to get repaired.

Most of the moola is repainting the whole drivers side to match up the paint (metallic silver)...The door is too perfect to replace, it would have been cheaper to find another one but this one is rust free and fits well (most of the time) the skin was popped front and back though.

As you know 2+2's have longer doors so not that easy to find.

The guys I'm using have given me a bit of mate's rates as they are friend of a friend...and the guys a master. I saw a rear ended GTR Skyline after he had grafted an entire new back end onto it...

More concerned with having it done right than the moola.
