s30 dim headlights

Hey i know dim headlights are a common problem on the s130's but my 240's lights are dim all the way around. tried cleaning some contacts, and swapped one of the headlights with one i knew was fine just to see if it made a difference... it didn't.

im not really electrically savy but testing coltage seems simple enough and i have a voltmeter. where should i start? any ideas?

Pull the combo switch on the steering wheel & inspect the plugs / contacts / wires.

Care to elaborate on the problem / solution for future readers of this thread?

Not sure where exactly the problem was. But I just traced the wires from the headlights to the switch on the steering rack cleaning all the contacts with alcohol and a cotton swab. After I ugged it all back in they worked fine. There were more plugs than I thought there would be. Nastiest one (probably the one giving me a poor connection was right at the firewall where the headlight harness connects to the interior wiring harness.
