Recommend a machine shop in PHX?

Looking for a machine shop that has some experience with the Datsun engines around the Phoenix area.

If anyone knows of a good shop, lemme know. Thanks.

Not Phoenix..but I know of one in downtown Mesa. He frequents on Zdriver once in a while. Spanky's Auto Body. 480 644-0060. He knows all Z's like the back of his hand. Worked on them since they first came out. Call him up...and tell him Aaron (WildmaN) sent you. If he can't do the work because of time. I am sure he could steer you in the right direction. To somebody that could help you. Hope this helps man. And good luck...

Oh and his name is "Gary" I can't remember his brother's name off-hand..lol

Okay. Called the guy up today. Real nice guy. He sent me over to B and B machine. Drover over there, and after talking to them for a while, they sent me over to Basko Engine Service. A full machine shop dedicated to performance engines, and porting. They have some heads on display that are awesome. They do good work. But, it's going to cost me. haha

TO get the head milled, larger valves installed, matched and ported intake and exhaust, combustion chambers cc matched is going to be pushing $1000. But, if I can find a good price on some stainless valves, I think that will drop some.

I am going to shop around a bit on the price for machining, but from what I witnessed, they do some great work there.

Already have the head stripped cleaned, and in the shop so they can pressure check it.

Dude... I just hit a bump in the road... I found a L28ET doner for cheaper than the cost of the head work.. And it runs good. AHHH!!!

It would make more sense to go turbo, make the power I want, and sell the setup on my car now to pay for it..

I hate my inability to make up my mind.

Wow good score man. Wish I was that lucky to find something like that. I have been slowly piecing together..for my Turbo conversion. All up to you man. Do you want raw n/a power? Or do you want to go for boost?

Boost sounds so good, and is too much tuning fun.

I can't turn a **** and make my car faster, or turn it, and make it get better mileage...

That would be cool.

I will have to see if the donner is still available when I get back from work in one or two weeks.
