Rear Differential Insulator

I have an 83 280, automatic, and the insulator for the rear end slams when I put it into gear. Where do I get a replacement. On ebay, the only version that I see is for a manual transmission. Are they different. Thank you Ron 843-399-2279

Welcome to ZDriver!

There are two differentials (R180 & R200), depending on what options the car has... turbo or n/a, 2seater or 2+2, base model vs GL.

Is your 83 automatic a 2+2?

Have you tried calling your local Nissan dealer?

I don't think there is any physical difference between the R180 & R200 mounts, but they might be two diff part numbers.

So... go to http://nissan4u.com and look up your car, get the exact part number for the diff mount, and look it up on www.courtesyparts.com
